Same for jenv, its cool and all, but as far as I can tell it merely changes environment variables, so it has the same limitation.

Would recommend against it though, as it doesnt really change the default java version used, evident by running the command usrlibexecjavahome -V, only the JAVAHOME.

Do you know the SDK version that you have installed The folder name takes the SDK version number, so the commands above might change a bit.

You can add it to our.bashrc if you want.

I am using.ericvar to define the variables, and.bashrc will source it (e.g source HOME.ericvar ).

The version can be used in a shell that is opened after a version was selected in the tool.
